Forest Service dispersed camping along Forest Road 24 with cooler temperatures and pine-oak woodland setting near Crown King.

This dispersed camping area along Forest Road 24 provides a welcome escape from desert heat, sitting at around 5,000 feet elevation in pine-oak woodland. The area offers numerous pull-offs and flat spots suitable for various camping setups, from tent sites to medium-sized RVs. Sites are scattered along the forest road with some offering partial shade from mature trees. Fire rings are present at some established spots, but bring your own firewood as collecting is prohibited in most areas.
