Sequoia National Park Lodgepole Campground
Lodgepole sits in a valley surrounded by massive sequoias and granite domes at 6,700 feet elevation. The 214 sites are spread across multiple loops with some offering creek access along the Marble Fork Kaweah River. Sites vary from tent-only to RV-friendly (up to 42 feet), with restrooms, bear boxes, and potable water throughout. The campground fills quickly April through September — reservations essential during peak season.
Located on the Generals Highway with paved access, but the winding mountain road isn’t recommended for large RVs or trailers. Snow closes the area November through April. The nearby Lodgepole Village has showers, laundry, and basic supplies. Tokopah Falls trailhead is a short walk from camp.
