Hlane Royal National Park Ndlovu Camp
Hlane’s main rest camp sits in open savanna dotted with marula trees, offering both traditional Swazi beehive huts and standard camping pitches. The camp overlooks a productive waterhole that draws elephants, rhinos, and antelope throughout the day. Facilities include clean ablution blocks, a small shop, and a restaurant serving local cuisine. Game drives and guided walks are available. The camp can accommodate about 50 people across various accommodation types.
Access is via 15 kilometers of decent gravel road from the main gate. The park is open year-round, but the dry season (May-October) offers the best game viewing as animals concentrate around water sources. Book ahead during South African school holidays when the camp fills with regional visitors.
