Six developed sites with tables, fire rings, and vault toilets sit beneath towering cliffs covered in thousand-year-old petroglyphs. The campground stays busy on weekends but empties out midweek. Water is not available, so bring your own. Sites are gravel pads that accommodate larger rigs, though wind can be brutal up here.
The short interpretive trail to the main petroglyph panels is worth the walk. Open year-round but snow can close access in winter. Perfect base camp for exploring the Monitor Range or as a staging point for Kingston Canyon runs.
Ancient art meets modern camping off the loneliest road.
