This working cattle station sits about 270km north of Marree, serving as the only reliable fuel stop between Marree and Mungerannie. The homestead operates a simple fuel service with diesel and unleaded, plus cold drinks, ice, and basic provisions. It’s bare-bones but friendly — just honk at the gate and someone will come out. Fuel prices reflect the remoteness, but you’re paying for the privilege of not walking home.
Access is directly off the Birdsville Track with good signage. Station operates daylight hours only, and payment is cash or card when the EFTPOS works. Call ahead if you’re cutting it close on fuel — they’re usually accommodating but this is working country first, tourist stop second.
