Cle Elum — Chevron and Town Resupply on First Street
Cle Elum is the gateway town for Teanaway Ridge, Beverly Campground, and the Alpine Lakes Wilderness approaches. The Chevron on First Street covers fuel, and you’ve got a grocery store, hardware, and a few restaurants within a couple blocks. It’s a working town, not a resort — prices are honest and the people aren’t precious about dirty rigs in the parking lot. Fill up here before heading north on the Teanaway Road because there’s nothing reliable beyond this point.
US-97 and I-90 both funnel through Cle Elum, making it easy to hit on approach from Seattle, Yakima, or the east side. Cell signal is solid in town. On summer weekends the Chevron can get busy with weekend warriors — show up early or plan to wait a few minutes at the pump.
Last fuel before Teanaway country.
