Cedar Mesa Campground — Natural Bridges National Monument
Thirteen sites tucked into the piñon-juniper flats above White Canyon at Natural Bridges National Monument. No hookups, no dump station — just a vault toilet, a fire grate, and jaw-dropping dark skies. Sites fill fast on spring and fall weekends, so arrive early or reserve through Recreation.gov. At 6,500 feet the nights go cold even in May. Generators prohibited.
Access is paved all the way via UT-261 and UT-95 — any rig can get here. It puts you within striking distance of the Moki Dugway, Grand Gulch, and the southern end of the Notom-Bullfrog Road. Cell service is essentially zero. Water is not available on-site; top off in Blanding or Hanksville before you roll in.
Rim camp under the darkest skies in Utah.
