Beechworth Gorge Caravan Park

Established Campground

Set in the foothills of the Victorian Alps, this caravan park occupies ground near the historic Beechworth township, famous for bushranger Ned Kelly and 1800s gold mining. The campground offers both powered and unpowered sites on grass with mature eucalyptus shade trees. Facilities include modern amenities blocks, camp kitchen, and laundry. The adjacent Beechworth Historic Park preserves original gold rush buildings and mine workings.

Access is via sealed roads from the Hume Highway, suitable for large caravans and motorhomes. The campground stays busy during school holidays and autumn when the deciduous trees planted by Chinese gold miners turn brilliant colors. Book ahead for Easter and Melbourne Cup long weekend.
