Arroyo Seco Camping Sierra de San Pedro Mártir
Natural camping area spread along a seasonal creek drainage surrounded by massive Jeffrey pines and granite boulders reminiscent of the Sierra Nevada. Sites accommodate 4-6 vehicles with established fire rings and natural windbreaks. Water flows seasonally from late winter through early summer. Elevation at 8,200 feet means cool nights even in summer and potential snow November through March.
Access via rough dirt road requiring high-clearance vehicle, particularly the final 3 miles which includes rocky sections and steep grades. No facilities whatsoever — pack out all trash and come prepared for primitive conditions. Popular with Baja overlanders seeking escape from desert heat. Fire restrictions typically in effect May through October.
