Arctic Trucks Ísland — Klettháls Reykjavík Highland Rig Conversion and 4×4 Accessories Shop

Off-Road / Outfitter

Arctic Trucks started life in Iceland as Toyota’s accessories arm. It split off in 2005 and now builds rigs for the Arctic and Antarctic. The Klettháls shop in Reykjavík does vehicle conversions, aftermarket accessories, big off-road tires and protective plastics. It’s also listed as an authorised ARB dealer. If you’re shipping a rig to Iceland, or you busted something on the way in, this is the obvious first stop before you point it at the interior. Highland F-roads like Sprengisandur and Kjölur are unpaved and have unbridged river fords, so tire pressure gear, recovery kit and a solid spare matter.

Hours as listed: Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 17:00, closed Saturdays. Expect a working shop, not a boutique. Call ahead (+354 540 4900) for stock and booking, especially in summer when every rental and expedition rig in the country wants attention. Verify hours and inventory before you drive over.

Have a dirty day.
