Dease Lake sits at the junction of Highway 37 and is the most reliable fuel and resupply point in this stretch of the Cassiar. The Esso here carries regular and diesel, and the attached store stocks groceries, propane, and basic supplies — the kind of place where you grab whatever you forgot and don’t ask about brands. Cell signal exists in town but disappears fast once you’re back on the highway. It’s a genuine crossroads community, not a resort stop.
