Petro-Canada Nakusp — Broadway Street Fuel and Resupply
Nakusp sits right on Upper Arrow Lake and is the logical resupply point for anyone running the Kuskanax Creek FSR to McDonald Creek Summit route. This Petro-Canada on Broadway Street covers diesel and premium, and the town itself has a grocery store, hardware store, and a basic pharmacy — enough to top off food, water, and propane before you disappear into the Selkirks. The ferry crossing at Galena Bay is nearby if you’re looping north toward Revelstoke.
Nakusp is a small town so don’t expect 24-hour pumps or a truck stop. Get here during business hours. Cell service is reasonable in town but drops hard once you’re up the FSR. Verify fuel hours before arriving late in the season.
Fuel up before the Kuskanax backcountry.
