Chequamegon National Forest Moose Lake Road Dispersed Sites
A collection of well-established dispersed sites scattered along Forest Road 173 near Moose Lake, offering solid privacy and solitude in mixed hardwood forest. Most sites can handle mid-sized rigs, with fire rings already in place and enough room to spread out. Gets busy during deer season but otherwise sees light traffic year-round.
Access via FR 173 is decent gravel for the first few miles, then transitions to dirt with some soft spots after rain. No facilities but Moose Lake provides water access about half a mile from the main cluster of sites. Seasonal fire restrictions typically run June through August.
