Presque Isle State Park Tom Ridge Environmental Center
The Tom Ridge Environmental Center serves as the gateway to Presque Isle State Park, offering exhibits on Great Lakes ecology, local wildlife, and the peninsula’s unique sand dune ecosystem. The center features interactive displays, a theater, and detailed trail maps for the park’s 13 miles of trails that wind through beaches, marshlands, and forests along Lake Erie’s shoreline.
Open year-round with ample parking for larger rigs. The center provides restrooms, drinking water, and serves as the main trailhead for accessing Presque Isle’s diverse habitats. Peak visitation runs May through September, but shoulder seasons offer excellent wildlife viewing with fewer crowds.
