Tok Cutoff Junction BLM Campground

Free BLM campground at the junction of Alaska Highway and Tok Cutoff, popular overnight stop for Alaska Highway travelers.

This no-frills BLM campground sits right at the critical junction where the Tok Cutoff meets the Alaska Highway. Twelve basic sites scattered through spruce and birch, each with fire ring and picnic table. Gets busy with RVs and overlanders during summer months — it’s the logical stopping point before the final push to Anchorage or Fairbanks. Vault toilets but no potable water.

Easy access right off the highway with good gravel roads throughout. Open May through September, though some hardy souls camp here into October. Sites are first-come, first-served, and the place fills up by evening during July and August.
