This N1 station sits at the junction where most highland routes begin their serious departure from civilization. Located right off the Ring Road, it’s easily accessible by any rig. Most overlanders fuel up here before tackling the Kjölur or Sprengisandur routes. Gets busy during peak summer months, but fuel pumps handle larger vehicles without issue.
