Natural Bridge State Resort Park Campground
Thirty-five sites tucked into wooded Kentucky hollows beneath towering sandstone cliffs, with hot showers, flush toilets, and electrical hookups at most sites. The campground fills up on weekends during fall foliage season but stays quiet midweek. Fire rings and picnic tables at every site, with decent spacing between neighbors. No cell service in the deeper hollows but partial coverage near the lodge area.
Access via KY-11 on decent paved road, though the campground roads are narrow with tight turns for big rigs. Open year-round but water may be shut off at sites during freezing weather. The Natural Bridge Trail starts right from the campground, making this a solid base for exploring the Red River Gorge area without dealing with dispersed camping restrictions.
