Sinnemahoning State Park Campground

Established Campground

Tucked deep in Pennsylvania elk country, this primitive campground offers 35 sites split between electric and non-electric options. Sites are spacious and heavily wooded with fire rings and picnic tables. The campground maintains a remote wilderness feel despite basic amenities like restrooms and potable water. Popular staging area for hunters and 4WD enthusiasts exploring the surrounding forest road system.

Located off PA Route 872 near the village of Sinnemahoning, the campground provides excellent access to nearby Kettle Creek Gorge trails and Elk State Forest roads. Gets busy during elk season (September-October) but remains quiet most of the year. No cell service once you’re in the valley.
