This Inyo County campground sits on the shores of Diaz Lake, offering developed sites with full hookups, restrooms, and a boat ramp. Popular with bass anglers and families, it fills up on weekends during fishing season. Sites are mostly open with minimal shade, but the lake views make up for it. Fire rings and picnic tables at each site, plus a dump station for RVs.
Located right off US-395 about 10 miles south of Lone Pine, making it an easy stop for overlanders running the Alabama Hills. The lake is stocked with bass and catfish, and early morning is your best bet for both fishing and finding available sites. Reservations recommended during peak season.
