Burr Oak Cove Campground
Burr Oak Cove sits on a peninsula jutting into Burr Oak Lake, offering 100 sites split between electric hookups and primitive spots. The lakeside sites along the cove are the prize — you’re 20 feet from the water with decent shade from mature oaks. Facilities include clean bathhouses, a boat ramp, and a camp store that’s hit or miss on supplies.
Located in Burr Oak State Park off State Route 13, about 15 minutes from the Wayne National Forest trails around Glouster. The campground stays busy Memorial Day through Labor Day but mellows out in shoulder seasons. Some sites can handle big rigs, others are better for tent camping.
