Arches National Park Courthouse Towers Viewpoint
The Three Gossips, Sheep Rock, Tower of Babel, and Courthouse Towers dominate this section of the park with their sheer Entrada sandstone faces. The roadside viewpoint sits at the base of these giants, offering close-up perspectives on the layered rock formations that define southern Utah’s canyon country. Park Avenue Trail starts here, dropping into a narrow canyon flanked by towering walls — like walking down a stone corridor between skyscrapers.
Located just 3 miles from the park entrance on the main scenic drive, this spot gets heavy traffic during peak season (March-May, September-October). Early morning light brings out the deep reds and oranges in the sandstone. The viewpoint has a small parking area that fills quickly after 9 AM in busy seasons.
