Love’s Travel Stop Monroe

Fuel Station

This major travel center sits at the busy intersection of I-20 and US-165, making it a natural staging point for overlanders heading to Kisatchie National Forest or the Red River refuges. Standard Love’s amenities include diesel pumps that can handle big rigs, propane fill, ATM, and a well-stocked convenience store. The attached McDonald’s and Subway stay open late, and there’s usually room for big rigs and trailers in the back lot.

Easy on/off access from I-20 westbound makes this a logical fuel stop when coming from Mississippi or heading toward Shreveport. The truck parking area can get crowded during peak trucking hours, but there’s usually space for overlanders. Check your oil here before heading into the backwoods.
