Fisher Towers Trailhead

Trailhead

Well-maintained trailhead with vault toilets, picnic tables, and a large parking area that handles RVs and trailers. The 4.4-mile round-trip trail winds through red sandstone towers that rise 900 feet above the Colorado River corridor. Trail is moderate difficulty with some exposure and scrambling near the end, but the payoff views are legendary.

Popular with rock climbers and hikers, so arrive early during March-May and September-November peak seasons. No water at trailhead — bring plenty. The drive in from Highway 128 is paved and suitable for any vehicle. Often used as a rest day activity between harder 4WD runs in the area.
