Tanner 4×4 Colorado Springs

This is Colorado’s granddaddy of 4×4 shops — established in 1974 and still cranking out legendary builds fifty years later. Tanner specializes in custom fabrication of off-road tube chassis, bumpers, skid plates, roll cages, 4-link suspension systems, and “almost anything else you can dream up.” These guys have competed at King of the Hammers and won multiple Dirt Riot national championships, so they know what hardcore wheeling demands.

Located at 1920 E Pikes Peak Ave, they’re open Mon-Fri 8am-5:30pm, Saturday 8am-1:30pm. Pete and his crew will give it to you straight — they handle basic maintenance and repair, but their reputation was built on full custom one-off rigs. If you need bolt-on parts, they stock all major brands. If bolt-on isn’t enough for your vision, Tanner builds it from scratch.
