This massive BLM area wraps around Pathfinder Reservoir’s northern shore with scattered dispersed sites across rolling sagebrush hills and rocky outcrops. You’ll find everything from windswept ridgetop spots with panoramic views to sheltered draws closer to water. Most sites can handle big rigs, though the rocky terrain keeps things interesting. Wind is constant — stake everything down and bring windbreaks.
Access via multiple rough dirt spurs off Pathfinder Road (County Road 407). Some routes require high-clearance, others are fine for any vehicle. No facilities whatsoever, but plenty of room to spread out. Popular with fishing crowds spring through fall, nearly empty in winter when the reservoir ices over.
