This backcountry gem sits at Mile 392 of the Alaska Highway, offering 28 sites nestled in boreal forest beneath the towering Stone Mountain massif. Sites accommodate RVs up to 40 feet, with fire rings, picnic tables, and vault toilets, but no hookups or showers. The park is famous for its Stone sheep, caribou, and black bear populations, with the Summit Lake area providing some of the best wildlife photography opportunities in northern BC.
Open mid-May through September, weather permitting. The campground fills up during peak Alaska Highway travel season in July and August. A short hiking trail leads to Flower Springs Lake, and the nearby Summit Lake rest area offers spectacular mountain reflections.
