Wiluna Campground — Wiluna Caravan Park Overflow Camp
Wiluna Caravan Park sits right on the edge of town and is the standard staging camp for CSR-bound rigs. Grass sites, powered and unpowered options, flush toilets, hot showers — everything you won’t see again for a week or two once you roll out the gate toward Well 1. The vibe is functional and friendly: expect other overlanders loading up jerries, comparing tyre pressures, and swapping intel around the fire. It fills up fast during dry season runs (May–September), so rock up early or call ahead.
Wiluna is your last guaranteed fuel, drinking water, and mechanical help before the desert swallows you. The CSR proper begins roughly 40km north of town — use this camp to do a final gear check, top every tank, and get a weather read from locals. Gravel and dirt access from the Great Northern Highway; most routes are bitumen into town.
Last hot shower before the desert.
