Wiluna Caravan Park — Canning Stock Route Northern Gateway Campground
Wiluna Caravan Park is the last established camp most CSR travellers use before the gates of the Outback swallow them whole. It’s a no-frills, working-outback-town facility with powered and unpowered sites, hot showers, and access to town services — fuel, a basic store, and the Shire office where you can register your CSR intentions. The vibe is utilitarian, not glamorous, but that’s exactly right for a place that exists to send people into one of Earth’s most remote corridors. Fill every water container you’ve got before leaving.
Wiluna sits at the northern terminus of the Canning Stock Route and is the logical base for final prep on the Well 23–36 central corridor push. The park is small and can fill up during peak CSR season (May–September). No bookings typically required but call ahead in peak months. Mobile signal is limited. Dirt access once you leave town.
Last hot shower before the Gibson Desert.
