Ridgway State Park Campgrounds

Established Campground

Ridgway State Park is the easy answer when you come off the north end of Last Dollar Road with dust in your teeth and a dead fridge battery. The park runs several separate campgrounds around Ridgway Reservoir, with views of the Sneffels Range across the water. Expect real infrastructure: restrooms, showers, potable water, tables, fire rings, and electric hookups in some loops. A dump station is on site too. Summer weekends fill up fast, so reserve through Colorado Parks and Wildlife ahead of time. Fire restrictions come and go with conditions, so check before you light anything.

From the Dallas Divide end of Last Dollar, it’s a short drive down Highway 62 to Highway 550 and the park entrance outside Ridgway. The access road is paved, so any rig makes it. A daily park pass is required on top of the site fee. Trailer-sized sites exist, but not every loop fits big rigs, so verify loop details when you book. Fees, season, and site counts change, so confirm with CPW before you roll in.
