This visitor center sits at the entrance to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, your last reliable stop for fuel, water, and basic supplies before exploring the desert west of Las Vegas. Clean restrooms, drinking water, and a small store with snacks and maps. The scenic drive beyond requires a vehicle pass, but the area offers multiple trailheads and dispersed camping opportunities deeper in the conservation area.
Located right off Highway 159, it’s paved access all the way. Popular with day visitors and climbers, so expect crowds during cooler months. The real overlanding begins once you head into the backcountry areas beyond the main scenic loop.
Last resupply before Red Rock backcountry
