Four Corners Monument
A bronze disk embedded in concrete marks the exact spot where Arizona, Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico meet. You can literally stand in four states at once, though the novelty wears off quick. The monument sits on Navajo Nation land with a small visitor center selling jewelry and frybread. Expect crowds during peak season and a $5 per person fee.
Access is straightforward via paved US-160, about 40 miles southwest of Cortez, Colorado. Open year-round but can be brutally hot in summer. The actual surveyed point is apparently 1,800 feet east of the monument due to 19th-century surveying errors, but this is the official spot recognized by Congress.
