Tower Fall Campground — Yellowstone National Park
Tower Fall Campground sits at around 6,600 feet near Tower Junction on the northeast side of the park, about 18 miles from Mammoth and the Bunsen Peak Road corridor. Thirty-two sites tucked into Douglas fir and open sagebrush, right next to the Tower Fall waterfall overlook. It’s one of the smaller developed camps in Yellowstone — less circus than Madison or Bridge Bay, more honest feel. First-come, first-served. The nearby general store at Tower-Roosevelt has basic supplies and a grill — about as close to resupply as you’ll get inside park boundaries.
Typically open late May through late September. No hookups, no showers. Potable water on-site. The road to Tower Junction is paved and straightforward. Fills by midday in peak summer — if you’re running Bunsen Peak and want to push east for the next leg, this is your exit camp.
