Midgley Bridge — Wilson Canyon Viewpoint

Midgley Bridge carries AZ-89A over Wilson Canyon just north of Sedona, and the pull-offs on either end give you a legit look into the red rock slot below and out across the Oak Creek corridor. The bridge itself dates to 1939 and sits at roughly 4,400 feet. It’s a quick stop, not a destination — but if you’re shuttling a rig between Sedona and the Schnebly Hill trailhead, this is the last real overlook before you commit to dirt. Morning light hits the canyon walls hard from the east.

Parking is roadside and tight — a couple of pull-outs on the north end. AZ-89A sees heavy tourist traffic, so pull fully off before you get out. No facilities. Cell signal is solid here. Worth 10 minutes of your time.
