Brushkana Creek BLM Campground — Denali Highway Mile 104
Brushkana Creek Campground is a BLM site at roughly Mile 104 of the Denali Highway, tucked into a creek drainage with spruce and willow framing the site. It’s one of the few formally managed campgrounds on the whole highway and the logical last-night camp before rolling into Cantwell. Fire rings, outhouses, and some picnic tables are on the ground. The creek is a known grayling fishery. Moose sightings are common in the willow flats nearby. It’s a small site so if you arrive late in peak summer, you may be improvising.
The road through this section can be soft and rutted in wet conditions — high-clearance is the baseline. The campground is signed off the main highway corridor. No drinking water is provided at the site — treat water from Brushkana Creek or carry your own from your last town stop. Season runs June through early September.
