Marion Creek Campground

BLM's northernmost established campground at Mile 179, with 27 sites along a clear stream in the shadow of Sukakpak Mountain.

Twenty-seven sites scattered along Marion Creek with vault toilets, fire rings, and picnic tables. Most sites accommodate RVs up to 35 feet, though some are better suited for tents. The creek runs clear and cold — good for water if you filter it. Sukakpak Mountain looms overhead, creating a dramatic backdrop for camp.

Open mid-May through September, weather permitting. Sites fill up during peak summer but shoulder seasons are quieter. The access road is short and paved. No reservations — first-come basis. Popular with Dalton Highway through-travelers and local hunters in fall.
