Nockamixon State Park Ridge Trail Dispersed Area
Four or five primitive sites scattered along the old Ridge Trail logging road, with partial views of Lake Nockamixon through the trees. Sites are small — best for tents and small truck campers. Established fire rings at most spots. Good access to the park’s 25-mile trail network. Gets busy during fall foliage season and summer weekends.
Access via the maintenance road behind the park office — ask at the visitor center for current conditions. Road can be rough after storms with fallen trees. Winter access depends on snow conditions. Pack everything out; park rangers do patrol back here occasionally.
