This Copec station on Calle Caracoles serves as the final fuel stop before venturing into the Atacama’s remote circuits — the Salar de Tara, Valle de la Luna, or the high-altitude geysers. Clean facilities, decent selection of snacks and drinks, plus they stock basic automotive fluids. The pumps handle both gasoline and diesel, critical since the next fuel could be 200+ kilometers away depending on your route.

Open daily but hours can be unpredictable during low season (June-August). Top off everything here — fuel, water, food — as the desert doesn’t forgive poor planning. Credit cards accepted but carry cash as backup in this remote corner of the Atacama.
