Goodsprings Pioneer Saloon

Historic 1913 saloon and restaurant in ghost town remnants, 25 miles southwest of Vegas with Old West atmosphere.

The Pioneer Saloon stands as Goodsprings’ last operating business, a weathered wooden building that’s served miners, outlaws, and now overlanders since 1913. Clark Gable drank here while searching for Carole Lombard after her 1942 plane crash nearby. The bar serves cold beer, decent burgers, and stories from locals who’ve lived here for decades.

Access is straightforward via paved Nevada State Route 161. The saloon operates Friday through Sunday typically, though hours can be sporadic. No fuel here — fill up in Jean or Vegas before heading out.
