Ellijay Marathon Station

Clean, well-stocked Marathon station right on Highway 515 as you roll through downtown Ellijay. All fuel grades available along with diesel, plus propane exchange, ice, and basic camping supplies inside. The attached convenience store carries more than the usual snacks — firewood bundles, maps, and even some Coleman gear.

Gets busy during apple season (September-October) when leaf peepers flood the area, but otherwise it’s a quick in-and-out stop. Staff knows the local trails and can point you toward dispersed camping areas in the Chattahoochee National Forest. Open 24 hours.
