This developed BLM campground sits alongside Central Creek about 20 miles northeast of Circle on the Steese Highway. Features 30 sites with picnic tables, fire rings, and vault toilets scattered through spruce forest. Creek provides water source but requires treatment. Popular with hunters in fall and can fill up on weekends during summer months.
Access via good gravel road from Mile 127.7 Steese Highway. Open late May through September depending on snow. No firewood provided – gather dead and down only. Road can be muddy during spring breakup.
