Naches — US-12 and Naches Avenue Fuel and River Town Resupply
Naches sits at the confluence of the Naches and Tieton Rivers where US-12 and WA-410 split, making it the practical eastern gateway for anyone running the Naches Trail or heading into the American River corridor. There’s a gas station, a small grocery, and enough provisions to top off before you head into the Okanogan-Wenatchee backcountry. The town is low-key agricultural — apple orchards, ranches, and a general store vibe. Not a tourist hub, which means service is straightforward and nobody’s gouging you.
Coming off the trail from the east, this is your first guaranteed fuel stop after the canyon. Coming from the west via US-12 through Yakima, it’s your last chance before the road narrows and climbs. Cell signal is decent in town. If you need more extensive resupply, Yakima is another 14 miles east on US-12 and has full services including auto parts stores.
