Klondike Bluffs Trailhead
This small gravel parking area sits at the base of the Klondike Bluffs area, north of the main Arches National Park entrance. The trailhead provides access to Tower Arch via a 3.4-mile round trip hike through stunning red rock formations. Most visitors head to the popular arches, leaving this area relatively peaceful even during peak season. Vault toilet available but no water or shade — bring everything you need.
Access is via Salt Valley Road, a maintained dirt road that’s passable by any vehicle in dry conditions. Winter snow and spring mud can make the road temporarily impassable. The area sees steady use but rarely fills up, making it a solid backup when other Moab-area trails are packed.
Red rock tower access away from the crowds.
