Antelope Island State Park White Rock Bay Campground
This primitive campground sits on the western shore of Antelope Island, accessed by a 7-mile gravel road that keeps the crowds away. Twenty sites spread along White Rock Bay offer unobstructed views across the Great Salt Lake to the Wasatch Mountains. Each site has a fire ring and vault toilet access, but no water — bring what you need. The stark beauty is otherworldly, especially at sunset when the lake turns molten copper.
The gravel access road is fine for any vehicle in dry conditions but can get slick when wet. Biting gnats can be brutal May through July; late fall and winter offer the clearest skies. Antelope and bison roam freely through camp — secure food and don’t approach wildlife.
