This utilitarian fuel depot sits adjacent to Salekhard’s main airport, serving both aircraft and the occasional expedition vehicle. The facility stocks aviation gasoline and diesel, though accessing fuel requires coordination with terminal staff and payment in advance. Prices run significantly higher than southern Russia, reflecting the extreme logistics of Arctic fuel transport. The terminal operates year-round but with reduced hours during the polar night.

Overlanders must present proper documentation and fuel containers that meet safety standards. Call ahead to arrange access — the terminal doesn’t cater to casual travelers. This represents the last guaranteed fuel for 400+ kilometers for those heading north onto the Yamal Peninsula’s infamous ice roads.
