Camping Naturplatz Bovec

This established campground sits along the emerald Soča River in the heart of Slovenia’s adventure country. Clean facilities include hot showers, flush toilets, and a small camp store stocking basics. The river provides natural cooling and swimming spots, while the surrounding peaks offer world-class hiking and paragliding. Sites are mostly grass with some shade from riverside trees.

Located just outside Bovec town center, it’s a solid basecamp for exploring Triglav National Park’s southern approaches. The campground stays busy June through September with European overlanders and adventure tourists. Book ahead during peak summer or arrive early in shoulder seasons for walk-in spots.
