Ebb and Flow Rest Camp — Wilderness National Park
Ebb and Flow is the SANParks rest camp inside the Wilderness section of Garden Route National Park, tucked along the Touw River just off the N2. It runs camp and caravan sites with ablutions and braai spots, plus chalets and cabins if the weather turns on you. The setting is green and quiet: river, forest edge, and the lagoon system close by. Expect it to fill up fast over the December and Easter holidays, so book well ahead. Outside those windows it’s calm and a decent place to sort your rig before the gravel.
You’ll find it west of Knysna along the N2, with tar all the way to the gate, so any vehicle gets in. That makes it a good staging camp before the run up to Prince Alfred’s Pass, or a clean-up stop afterward. Fires are braai-only in the designated spots, and SANParks rules apply on quiet hours and gate times. Verify current rates, site availability, and facility status on the SANParks site before you roll in. Have a dirty day.
