Fifteen scattered sites along Beaver Creek offer a genuine backcountry experience in the White Mountains National Recreation Area. Each site has a fire ring and space for multiple vehicles, but no tables, water, or hookups — pack everything you need. The creek provides water for filtering, and the area sees moderate use from hunters and hikers accessing the trail system.
Accessible by high-clearance vehicle via rough dirt roads that can become impassable when wet. Sites are first-come, first-served with a 14-day limit. Best visited during dry summer months when creek crossings are manageable.
