Yukon Crossing Trading Post

This rustic trading post sits right at the Yukon River bridge on the Dalton Highway, serving as the final resupply point before the long haul to Deadhorse. They stock basic groceries, camping supplies, and hot food from a small kitchen. Fuel prices are steep but it’s your last chance for nearly 250 miles. The building doubles as an informal visitor center with local knowledge about road conditions ahead.

Basic camping is available behind the building for a small fee, though most folks just use it as a quick stop. The Yukon River bridge here is worth a photo — it’s an impressive span over one of Alaska’s mightiest rivers. Open seasonally, typically May through September.
