Osprey Bay Campground — Cape Range National Park

Established Campground

Osprey Bay is one of the camps along the western side of Cape Range National Park, right on the edge of the Ningaloo coast. Sites are in low coastal scrub with the reef a short walk away. Snorkeling is the main event, and the coast stays easy to get to by 2WD from Exmouth. It’s a basic bush camp: toilets, no showers, no power, no campfires, and you’ll need to bring your own water. Come ready to be self-sufficient.

Sites are booked through the Western Australia parks booking system and fill fast in the cooler months, so plan well ahead for the April to October window. Summer is brutally hot and cyclone season can close things down. Check the DBCA page for current conditions, fees and stay limits, and verify ahead. Take your rubbish out and stay off the dune vegetation. Have a dirty day.
