Mirage Motor Sports — West Main Street Barstow Mojave Off-Road Parts, Lift and Fabrication Shop

Mirage Motor Sports is an independent off-road shop on West Main Street in Barstow, near the L Street exit and next to a gas station. They do bumpers, light bars, shocks, lifts and general truck and side-by-side work. Customer write-ups describe the owner fabricating, ordering parts and fixing rigs for travelers stuck on I-15. Barstow is the gateway to the Mojave Road, Rasor OHV Area and Mojave National Preserve, and good shops are thin out there. Once you’re past Baker, it’s a long way to anything.

It’s a small shop, not a warehouse, so call ahead for parts. Public listings show weekday daytime hours, but verify ahead because they may have changed. Review volume is modest and many of the public reviews are a few years old, so confirm the shop is open before you detour. Plan on getting any heavy repairs done here, not out on the dirt.
